About me
I grew up in church, sleeping on and under pews, memorizing scripture, singing songs, dancing around the Music Machine, and waiting in the stone hallway, whose walls smelled like dust. I remember walking down the long aisle at Central Pentecostal Tabernacle to meet with Pastor George Smith, to give my heart to Jesus. Sunday school, youth retreats, choir trips, and precious moments at the altar; these memories linger.
Fast forward a few years - navigating university, then marriage, and being a mom - reading the Bible was tedious, prayer was lifeless, and I had no connection to the God I believed in who had captured my heart as a small child.

The day I encountered the overwhelming love of God changed everything. The awareness of His great love for me - yes, even me! - shifted my perspective, my way of thinking, and my direction. Where I had felt lost, I discovered I had always been found. Where I had been stumbling around in the dark, He opened my eyes to see.
​
I began a journey of rediscovery, seeking to truly know the One in whom I had placed my faith many years ago. As I began seeking Him, I began to find Him. I remember asking God for a delight and passion to read scripture and pray. I wanted more, so I picked up my Bible and began journaling my prayers. The Holy Spirit began to stir a hunger in me for the Word of God; scripture came alive and became life to me. He placed within me the desire to learn of Him, to talk to Him, and to know Him more.

New revelations led me on a journey of discovering freedom, healing, and the truth of my identity in Him. As I began to live free, I learned how to lead others into freedom. I trained with and under a pastor at our church; my mentor and dear friend. We watched in awe as the Lord healed, transformed, and made new.
​
Since 2015, I have led an inner healing ministry, called Jesus Therapy, where the Holy Spirit ministers to, and heals His beloved ones. With no advertisement, hundreds of people have come to find freedom, healing, and beauty as Jesus leads and guides with His eye on us.
​
In the last few years I sensed the Lord leading me back to school. In addition to an under-graduate degree in Education, I have added a certificate in both Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction.
​
Since 2023 I have had the profound privilege to serve as a Spiritual Director at Vanguard College in Edmonton, AB.
​
My life is full, and full of joy.
I have loved and been married to my husband for 30 years. We have four adult children, three of whom are married, and two precious grand-daughters.
​
We also have two cats.
​
All I know for sure, is that Love began my journey, and Love is at the heart of it all! His Love enables everything!
For from Him, through Him, and to Him, are all things. To Him be the glory, forever! Amen
